Matt, the Tomato, is gone from the apartment.
(Did I mention I hate living alone?)
Cat will be starting her new College after this weekend.
I am now up to 2mg for my estrogen as of August 1st.
(Though I've had to cut down on my Testosterone Blocker because I'm almost out until new shipment gets here.....Grrr.)
I might be "going up the ladder" at work.
(If the manager let's me be a checker)
Cat and I have heard many opinions on us getting married as man/woman vs. woman/women.
(My want was to never, EVER, wear a tux at my own wedding!)
Finally started going to LGBT things through San Jose's Billy De Frank center for LGBT.
I've been going to a Transwomans support group every other Friday night from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. (I'm so far from the ugliest one there, you know the Tg that suffers from "You know I'm a guy in drag" syndrome.)
I stopped going to my favorite past time for 5 years running, my Vampire LARP.
(Numerous reasons: Need to work on real life "Ghost" rather than the character I play, tired of belittling or smarmy comments on who I've chosen to be happy in life with, unstable people coming to play game and not being removed from game for every bad act they perform,etc..)
My 34th birthday was fun enough, my parents took me and cat and a friend of ours to dinner at the Elephant Bar, before I went to work. The next night we all went to see, DISTRICT 9. (Honestly, I almost got up and left during the first half hour, there were disturbing things I didn't like about the movie. I stayed only because I knew it HAD to get better...)
My mother is continuing to support me in my decision on my life, I love her so.
(She actually bought me girl clothes!!, and is continuing to try and call me Stephanie)
((Though she does call me by Stephen still, too. I'm fine with it.)
My friends who I hang around with a lot are also very supportive.
(Though a few of them still call me Stephen, or the hated "Steve" once in a while.)
((Don't mind it too much there, either.))
I'm still in the process of going through all my stuff to see what I keep and what I toss for when I move to San Jose in October. (So is Cat, though she has way more stuff to toss than I.)
I'm not exactly happy yet.
(But, I'm getting there.)
I think that's everything so far for the past few months.
